Flooring for Feature Walls
Feature Walls are the latest trend and can be done with all kinds of different products. Don’t let the variety of options overwhelm you – you can narrow it down based on what’s appropriate for the space you’re designing. We at Great Floors are constantly searching out new and fun flooring products that can be applied to walls. Check out this amazing Richmond Laminate product from Shnier that I recently used in my own home.As the name states, Richmond Laminate’s Beach House is optimal for an actual beach house – but can definitely be installed elsewhere, to bring a natural element to that space. With its rustic appearance, Beach House laminate is sure to bring the fun of summer right into your home – all year long!Another great option is to use tile to spruce up a fireplace or wall that needs some depth and dimension. Tile is available in various colours, shapes, and sizes, so the design ideas are endless. A huge trend for 2015 is Hexagon tile. With its geometric shape it is sure to provide that classic and bold look. You can make it as daring or as simple as you see fit, but either way hexagon tile will give you a chic finish. Explore the beautiful Domus series from Ceragres which is available in an array of designs and colours.

That’s what we’re here for and what we are trained to do: to help you make the right decision for your home. It doesn’t need to be a stressful or a daunting experience. Do your research, but then let the experts help you do the rest. This an exciting time with endless possibilities! Amanda Injic joined her family’s flooring business in Strathroy in a roundabout way.
